This engagement ring started life as our bride-to-be's mother's traditional five-stone blue sapphire engagement ring. Sentimental, yes. Her style? Not quite. So we redesigned it.

Working with her brief of "dark elf meets Persephone," we broke the symmetrical layout and created something entirely different. We kept three of the original deep blue sapphires and removed the other two (for a later date), replacing them with a pearl and two moonstones. The result is an asymmetrical composition that feels both grounded and otherworldly.

The 18ct yellow gold setting incorporates the small diamonds from the original ring, now scattered along the band. Nothing was wasted; everything was reimagined.

This approach means she wears a piece that honours her parent's love story, while expressing her own aesthetic. The asymmetrical design reflects someone comfortable with unconventional choices - someone who appreciates both heritage and individuality.

Every piece of Antonia Guise jewellery is made by hand, in England, using 100% recycled metal and our talented team of Goldsmiths, who specialise in quality products, responsible standards and are paid fairly for their amazing skill.

All the metal used in our Bespoke Jewellery is recycled and any stones are sourced from dealers with the highest ethical standards. Our Diamonds dealers all adhere to the Kimberly Process and our larger Diamonds come with GIA certificates.
